Director's Biography: Alex Camilleri is a Maltese-American filmmaker. He is an alum of both the Sundance and Film Independent labs, his feature-length directorial debut, “Luzzu” — a neo-realist drama offers a rare glimpse into Malta's fishing industry. “Luzzu” won national funding in Malta and was chosen for the prestigious Les Arcs Works-In-Progress screening.
